Matty, Joshua, and Teddy Fox worked hard selecting shapes and placement of the square and triangles to create just the 'right' structure. Time moves forward, and we needed to prepare for outdoor play. Can I save this? Well we could try. They knew from previous experience that magna tiles can not be lifted or they collapse. So what could we do? We had some thin tag board. Could this work? They worked cooperatively to carefully slide this underneath the magna tiles. Providing children the opportunity to test out their theories, what could or might work, helps develop critical thinking.
