MAIL CALL!

Sam and Olive working hard to decorate our new mailbox!
In the Unicorn class, we have talked about sending mail to other classmates when they are sick and absent for school.  Also, about how the mail starts at Temple Beth Shalom and travels to it's end destination.  Then we finally talked about who exactly brings our mail to our houses and friends.  With this expressed enthusiasm and curiosity about mail carriers, we have decided to bring the post office into our classroom!  The Unicorn class has its very own mail box and we will be introducing a new job onto our job chart of Post Master.  In the morning, children have free time to draw pictures, write cards and put pictures into the mail box.  With assistance from the teachers, we carefully address the mail and drop it in the box!  At the end of the day, the Post Master is responsible for delivering mail to each cubby!  Our mail box is a lot of fun, and the Unicorns even spent a morning decorating it!  Stop by and drop us a letter!
