Josh and Eric were our first lunch bunch helpers!! This fun task required 'teamwork' and following steps. First they needed to read what day it was on the board, then find the matching day on the schedule that was written for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Then came the cooperation, who wanted to 'read' the names and who wanted to post? In this particular day, Josh elected to read, and Eric proceeded to post the names, by gender, and then who was not staying for lunch.This was a big responsibility and one in which they embraced. Thank you Josh and Eric!!
Thanks for sharing how you are involving the children in these jobs- reading, organizing, displaying the cards. I'm impressed with their skills.
