The Levana children continue learning about creation.
G-d created the sea and all the creatures that swim. Elias and Julia stuff a giant paper fish with strips of newspaper. Using our fingers to tear paper is a viable technique to develop finger strength. With each opportunity, we gain stronger pencil grip readiness in preparation for writing. After we suspended the fish in the ocean, Gabriel had a chance to have it swim about.
I love how simple tasks can teach our young children so much (and thank you so much for explaining how the different activities teach different skills). What a cool activity too!
