The listening center is always a popular spot in the classroom. Probably because the kids have learned how to use the boombox and headphones and can control it themselves, and they also get to hear some great tunes. This week we have introduced something new to them: books on tape! Alli's mom graciously let us borrow a huge bag of books on tape, and they have been in demand! The tapes come with the book that is being read so that the child can follow along with the reading. When it is time to turn the page, there is a beep. Yet another way for our students to be independent!!
