I wonder .....

Thank you to JB for bringing in his microscope for us to explore how things we find in nature and in our every day life appear magnified. You may recall Sam's turkey feather?? That was our first item to look at. Some boys and girls thought it looked like 'squiggly lines and stripes.' We looked at locust leg and Josh thought it looked like 'dirt'. Other things looked at were fruit flys, shrimp eggs, the peel of an apple, the apple and also some Chex cereal. You may want to ask your children what they saw. We look forward to finding more things in nature to explore.
Thank you JB for your generous gift of time and knowledge.

  1. Mia was so enthralled by this activity! She was extremely excited to share it with me at dinner. Her enthusiasm was clear in how she shook with excitement while she told me all the things they had looked on the microscope that JB had brought in. Thanks JB!
