Lunch Bunch Cooking!

Max, Nathan, Jared and I have been on a cooking spree this month during lunch bunch! Today we decided to make more hamantashen for Purim but this time we made the dough from scratch! The boys cracked the eggs and stirred the eggs and sugar until they were light and fluffy. The recipe I used had good descriptive language and we tried to come up with our own words to describe the consistency of the dough. Sometimes it was sticky, goopy, clumpy, slimy, doughy, think, smooth-so many descriptive words! They worked hard to make the dough into triangle shapes by pinching and folding. It was great fine motor work and it's a skill thats hard to do! We had a great time and I am excited to try a new healthy cooking teat for next week!
