We left this morning on Air China for the 14 hour trip from Logan to Beijing. We landed with no difficulties after enjoying our snack of fortune cookies and raisins. We will be in China for about 2 weeks to celebrate the Chinese New Year and to learn about Chinese culture, food, people, animals and countryside.In this photo we are on the airplane with 5 pilots, 3 persons to handle the snack attack and one person to direct the plane to the gate. We all have Chinese names because the children asked for them after they had Hebrew names when we were in Israel. We are going to learn a few Chinese words but for now - Gung Hay Fat Choy (Happy New Year).
