My, how we love books in our Levana classroom! We especially love when our friends bring books from home to share with us. We all sat, captivated, as we read Bennett's book about the moon (a topic near and dear to Levana.) On Friday we celebrated Lucy's birthday with her Mom, Caren, reading us a Clifford book. Clifford was never funnier! Happy Birthday, Lucy, and thanks for sharing a wonderful book.
It was certainly memorable for Adam- he found a Clifford book in his room yesterday and asked what it was. When I told him, he thought for a moment (intently), and then said, "Lucy's mom read this to our class!" He was sooo excited to make that connection, and I was so enthralled just watching his little mind put the pieces together and think of everything he wanted to say.
