Some children elected to make their costumes at school for our Purim celebration at Newbridge Center. First, we asked the children to come up w/ a 'plan'. They had to decide what they wanted to be and then what materials they wanted to use for their idea. Jesse wanted to be a dentist. What did a dentist need and what materials was he going to need? He said that he needed paper, a mirror, tooth brush, a tiny tooth to practice, a suit, and a blue pocket. We first traced his body to make his suit and then he was off and running. Dentist 'Jesse' is ready for his first patient!!!

Dentist Jesse is ready and SO excited about his creation. . .he enjoyed telling us the details of how the costume was made. I love the check off list. He can't wait to model for his Nana Barbie tomorrow at Newbridge : )
