Peer to Peer Teaching

One of my favorite parts of spending time in a school is the the chance to witness children teaching and learning from each other.  Today's lesson took place on the swings.  Sara was swinging away and the other children wanted to join in the fun, but didn't know how to make the swings go.  "I know how to pump!  I'll show you," Sara offered to Hannah and Eliza.  Soon all three girls were moving their bodies.  After a few pushes to get things started, they were even able to sustain the swinging for a few minutes.
