Writing vs Drawing

The Scientist Lunch Bunch class was ready to draw and write. A few sheets of poster board, scissors, and markers were all it took for an hour long project to get underway. Jonathan focused so intently on his drawing. Jayden and Becca worked together on another, and Noah helped us all with the cutting. The Needham public school learning expectations for the kindergarten year include the writing goal of exploring the difference between writing and drawing. At TBSCC our children are using words and drawings to express their ideas and convey meaning well before kindergarten.
