One of my favorite parts of being a teacher is listening to the children's conversations, whether it's on the playground, at the snack table or in the bathroom, what they say and how they say it never ceases to amaze me! Today, Aden and Mia spent a long period of time in the Art Center chatting and sharing one roll of tape. Back and forth they went with their polite manners and dialogue! "Mia can I please use the tape when you are done?" "Sure Aden, I just need few more pieces." "Take your time Mia, I have to cut two strips of paper before I need the tape anyway." "Okay, Aden I have to glue my little paper on my big paper." What I witnessed was a great example of two human beings showing common courtesy and respect!
Glad to see she uses manners at school! :) What a sweet interaction!
