Sometimes elephants have all the fun! Willaby has been traveling all over Needham, staying in a new hotel (aka family's home) each week. Willaby's travel log is a popular read in the Haifa classroom. The children love to look through the binder and review the stories of his visit to their own home, as well as check out those written by their classmates. This offers a connection between home and school, helps children learn about the families of their classmates, and is a meaningful literacy experience for our four year olds.
Julia had Willaby for the weekend! It was great fun learning about what it all meant!
