Doing the Chicken Dance
For the last two weeks, the Haifa All Stars have been learning and practicing the Chicken Dance. We decided to perform the dance at the Shabbat Shindig today. After attending Shabbat services in the sanctuary with the entire school, we went down to the block room and performed the dance for our guest. After the children did the dance, their families were invited to take part in the dance with them. Everyone did a great job doing all the movements required for the dance. The families can continue to practice the dance at home because each family got their own CD of the dance to take with them.

We practiced the chicken dance this afternoon and showed Jesse's dad as soon as he walked in the door from work. Jesse promised to teach his dad the dance first thing tomorrow ; )
