.The Rainbows love to have everyone in attendance. Sam and Abby name all their classmates during their ride to school, and expect to see them when they arrive. Other children enter the room and immediately take an inventory of who is here and who is not. Last week the big question was, "Where's Max?" We learned that Max and his family were recovering from those winter ills, familiar to all families. Max returned today looking robust and rested, and we felt whole again. Today Max was busy making a cave, including food, for his lizard, creating a playground for the winter animals, and enjoying music and laughter with his Rainbow friends. We love to see the way the Rainbow class has bonded as the children become more aware and caring of one another
