Wood Sculptures!

Creating sculptures and designs with wood was an activity everyone enjoyed! Each child sat at the table and explored the wood . They noticed the different textures, shapes, colors and sizes of wood pieces. Then they went to work building and creating their own piece of art!

Mia-"This is a button on top and when you push it bubbles come out. I also made a rocketship that goes into outer space."

Aden-"This is just a design that I really like."

Sam-"This is a plane and you hop down the little hole, and go into the seat."

Hadley-"It's a tower with a pink piece, that is random."

Eric-"It's a laser that shoots candy."

Tomorrow the children can take home their creations to display at home!
