As we think about Tu B'Shevat and taking care of the earth, the Unicorns are learning and working on ways to give back to the earth. One way is to grow new plants. The Unicorns have been sprouting potatoes and avocados and making predictions about what will happen. Now we're ready to get our hands dirty. Today we planted parsley and beans. We learned that seeds need soil, water, and light to grow into plants. We also have been taking care of our new giant plant by watering it every day. By spring we'll be experienced gardeners, ready for outdoor planting!
It will be fun to see how this experiment grows throughout the winter and spring!
