Jacob has been asking to make Challah for lunch bunch. The dough was prepared and we were ready to go. Some children wanted to braid their Challah dough and others did not.
As there was only one teacher, I asked who could be the other expert in the room to help with the braiding process. Brett volunteered. Together we rolled long pieces of dough like snakes. Then Brett said we needed to cross opposite ends in the middle. Thank you Brett for helping.
There is so much learning involved in challah baking. It has been really amazing to watch how over the years and with so many opportunities, the children learn really do the braiding. Awesome!
