Shabbat Together

Today the Levana and the Etzim children shared the celebration of Shabbat together. We sang some of our favorite songs including Put a Chicken in the Pot where each child takes a turn putting an item into the giant pot and stirring it up. We then put our hands out to simulate bowls and slurped up our imaginary delicious Friday night soup. Our Shabbat helpers from each class, Graham and Eliana, led us in the blessings and then we enjoyed our challah and juice snack. Being together and celebrating with friends makes Shabbat even sweeter.
