The Tel Aviv class has been spending time building and recently we found another way to build: magnets! We found a neat magnet toy in the upstairs closet that we use mini magnet balls to link the magnets together to create neat 2D and 3D shapes. The best part was that Micah Rosin found out that they stick to the chalkboard! Everyone was so excited by this discovery and throughout the morning Micah and Josie built a neat forest with the magnets and Micah Gladstone joined them creating his own design with Magnet tiles. Soon Elias, Joshua and Adam joined too! It a great fine motor activity that allows for much imaginative play and even gave us the opportunity to work on our problem solving strategies as we negotiated sharing space on the chalk board. It was a fun activity and good learning experience for all!
