Thankful for...

As we get closer to Thanksgiving, we have been talking about what it means to be thankful:  "being happy for something that is in our lives and knowing that it is important to us."  Today, each child had the opportunity to share one or two things that they are thankful for this year.

Grayden:  I am thankful for mommy because she does the laundry and cooks dinner.

Rosie:  I am thankful for my daddy because he cooks dinner and gets me ice cream.

Victoria:  I am thankful for my mommy because she loves me.

Sonia:  I am thankful for my brother and sister because I like to play in their room.  I am also thankful for my mom's guitar.

Max:  I am thankful when people share toys and don't take them away.

Josh:  I am thankful that my daddy and mommy take me out for ice cream.

Sydney:  I am thankful to be in the kitchen with my mommy and help her cook.

Ilan:  I am thankful for trains that move by themselves.

Bennett:  I am thankful when my daddy takes me to school.

Bella:  I am thankful for having time to play with Cody.

Ava:  I am thankful for playing with Mama.

Lily:  I am thankful for watching tv with my momma.

Judi and Rebecca are thankful for all of the hugs, smiles and giggles that we get to share with the Shamayim children each day.

Enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends!!
