In the Keshet class today, we didn't use brushes or an easel to paint. Instead the children used articles from nature to create their masterpieces. They painted with pine cones, leaves, sticks and pine needles. It is a very different way to work with paint. It may take a little longer. Something like a stick doesn't absorb paint the way a brush does so they need to be constantly dipping into the paint to get enough to make a line or dot or whatever they may want to put on their paper. This requires some patience and persistence.
Also, with the help of a teacher, some of the children had their hands painted and made prints for our Artware projects.
