There are so many beautiful natural materials for children to experience at this time of year. The leaves are gorgeous with their many colors, sizes and textures. We provided the children with a piece of contact paper, sticky side facing up. With care the leaves were placed on the contact paper to create an attractive collage that we displayed on the window. Like adults, children are drawn to orderly, beautiful arrangements of materials. We invite you to come see these wonderful collages and to view our many natural items in the Levana classroom. We have a pumpkin that is composting, parsley that is growing, seaweed that is drying out, sprouted pumpkin seeds and other fun things to check out.
