The wind has blown many sticks out in the playground. Max Greenstein and Brett were looking at sticks and noticing that some were naturally shaped like letters of the alphabet. They asked us if they could collect sticks and bring them in for further exploration. They inspired Molly, Rachel, and Sabrina to explore and create letters as well. Soon Dylan and Jacob were inspired to manipulate the straw connects and proudly announced the letters they created. Children inspired by children and learning from one another and excited about the process and their own creativity. What a wonderful child inspired way to learn how letters can be formed.
