"Come to the birthday party!" invited Naomi. "We're making ice cream!" added Alison offering an ice cream sundae complete with ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and colored sprinkles. "Can I have a cherry on top?" I asked and Alison agreed, adding a cherry. But whose birthday would we celebrate? Naomi and Jayden had differing ideas. Can you celebrate more than one birthday at the same time or not? That was a hard one. When Naomi found a pair of identical serving dishes the decision was clear: Yes! We could celebrate two birthdays. The girls sang a rousing round of Happy Birthday and then returned to their ice cream making business.
