This morning Rabbi Todd and the Rainbows enjoyed some time in the Sukkah. The Rabbi showed us the lulav and etrog. We shook the lulav in all directions, smelled the lemon scent of the etrog, wove some branches through the sukkah walls and enjoyed our snack together inside the lovely sukkah.
Being in the sukkah is a treat for the senses. It smells so clearly of evergreen, the ceiling is so beautifully covered in greenery. With smelling the lulav and listening to the shake of the lulav you made it even more of a sensory delight.
ReplyDeleteI love this season!
ReplyDeleteNathan reported back on this. He told us at dinner that he shook a lemon today.
ReplyDeleteSam had fun as well and said he went outside with "the man" and had a snack!
