Sunshines love to use playdough. Playdough allows children the whole world of imaginative and creative play. It strengthens small hands, wrists and fingers preparing for the beginning of writing. There are always lots of "look what I made" comments and discussions at the table.
Hannah formed three balls of dough in decreasing size to make a snowman. Sara cut chunks of the dough with a plastic knife. Eliza used stamps to create a crab design and Jacob squished his playdough with his full hand opening and closing his palm. Playdough is a featured item in our classroom.
