Helping Out in the Community
Although there were only 3 kids in scientist lunch bunch on Wednesday, we helped out the Children's Center Community in a big way, and had fun doing it. After a delicious lunch and some peace out time listening to relaxing music, we decided to help Ellen make some Jewish stars out of popsicle sticks. As you can see, we're pretty independent and are responsible enough to use the glue on our own! As you can see, Jonathan and Lucas worked hard and made so many triangles and Jewish stars, that they covered the whole table.
Later, Jake decided we should retrieve some of the outside toys that get lost over the fence and in the woods. Jake led us around the entire perimeter playground and we picked up about 15 toys that had been missing in the woods! A big thank you to all the scientist helpers, and I can't wait for the other after school adventures that await.
