The Scientist classroom has the unique feature of a full length glass door, allowing child height access to the outdoors. Today the children were taking full advantage of this door for some investigations. What is there to see out there? Armed with magnifying glasses, they wanted to find out. The world looks different through a magnifying glass and it was fascinating to watch as they looked through the glasses, then moved them away to look directly out, comparing the differences. I am curious to see what other opportunities this door offers for exploration throughout the year.
