The Sunshines have decorated a classroom sukkah with fruits and vegetables that they created. The process included using a new implement, the hole punch, feeding the yarn through the hole, and selecting the placement of the creation. The children then gathered in the sukkah to socialize in the spirit of Sukkot.
It was a joy to watch this decoration process in action. Cutting the string seemed to be of particular interest to the group. And this sukkah has quite the regal history. It used to be a chuppah from one of Tina's children. How cool!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great experience. Yesterday many members of the class enjoyed a picnic lunch at Ezra's family sukkah. They even made edible sukkot. What a wonderful treat!
