Stanley remembered that the kids had written notes to God and given them to him to take to Israel. Stanley knew that he needed to take these notes to the Western Wall. The Western Wall is called the Kotel in Hebrew. And Stanley knew that the Kotel was in Jerusalem.
Stanley knew how to figure it out! He would ask for help. He got out his map (it was bigger than him!) and spread it out on the table. "Where is Jerusalem?" Stanley asked, "I need to find the Kotel."
"Just go straight down the highway," a friendly Israeli told him. "Look for the signs, and you'll be there." Stanley knew that once he found Jerusalem he would go straight to the Kotel. Then he would take the notes the kids had written to God and stick them into the cracks. "Todah!" said Stanley to the friendly Israeli (that means thanks in Hebrew). He folded up his map, stuck it back into his backpack, and was on his way!
