Stanley Goes for a Spin

Flat Stanley has been getting a lot of emails in Israel. One of the emails was from the children in the Unicorn class. They wanted to know whether Stanley and Ellen were playing together. Well, of course! Stanley and Ellen play together every day.

One day Flat Stanley and Ellen were out for a walk. "Hey! What's that?" asked Stanley. Ellen looked over to where Stanley was pointing his flat finger. "Oh! That looks like so much fun!" said Ellen. It was a playground!

They went right over. Stanley was so excited. He did a little dance. "A playground! A playground! I didn't know they had playgrounds in Israel!" "Of course they do," said Ellen, "Children in Israel play on playgrounds just like you." Stanley didn't want to waste any more time talking. He wanted to play. He hopped right onto the spinner. Ellen hopped on after him. "Weeeee!" they said as they spun around and around. Playgrounds in Israel are so much fun.
