Fruit Salad in Israel w/ Flat Stanley

Unicorn friends looked at the fruit Flat Stanley was having for breakfast and thought that the red round fruit looked like an "apple or tomato". We learned it was a persimmon. We recognized the pear and the pomegranate, but we have never seen or tasted a persimmon. Our teachers are hoping to find a persimmon at the market so we can make our very own fruit salad with the same ingredients as Ellen and Flat Stanley. We are not sure how a persimmon will taste but we are curious to find out...
