As many of you may have noticed, my (Rachel's) office area in the front hallway has been recently renovated. A lot of our students have noticed this and been curious each day to see big and small changes taking place. Aden from the Tel Aviv All-Stars especially enjoys asking me "What else is new?" every morning to check up on any new additions to my space. This morning when he asked me, I looked around and realized I hadn't added anything new or made any changes since yesterday. When I told Aden this he replied, "Well, if you think of something you can always write me a note, and you or Ellen could deliver it to my classroom." I told him if I thought of anything, I would do just that.
Around 10:45 this note was delivered to my desk:

Knowing that I only had 45 minutes left to deliver the note, I racked my brain for some small change. Then I remembered the small Daffodil plant I had bought earlier this week to brighten up the hallway. Yesterday when I left, it had only 2 open buds, but this morning when I arrived, there was a 3rd yellow flower in bloom. I quickly wrote a note back to Aden to let him know of this new development. After Ellen delivered the note, I realized how nice it was to notice such a small, but beautiful event. Thanks Aden!
