Thank You Eber

Welcome to Eber, a new member of our Temple community. Eber saved the day yesterday by sprinkling salt on the icy parts of the blacktop. The children enjoyed seeing the unfamiliar salting machine. One of the many wonderful things about 4-year-olds is that they find everything cool! I have to agree that seeing the salt cause the ice to melt so quickly was pretty cool. Science in action! This was right up there with our accidental discovery of static electricity. What will be next?!

  1. Mia did tell me that the black part of the playground was "super, super, slippery. Like really slippery slippery slippery." Luckily she was able to ice skate. Phew! And I can't wait to meet Ebert! (pronounced, A-bear, correct?)

  2. Cool! I always love seeing how fascinated children are with things we consider mundane- it reminds me to stop and smell the roses. Thanks for sharing this. And thanks Ebert!
