We're Going on a Bear Hunt!

The Unicorn friends went on a bear hunt. We listened to the story We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury. As we read we came across various obstacles: a tree, swamp, etc. We can't go over it, can't go under it we have to.... Lily F. and Avery are searching for bears with what appears to be binoculars. Dylan and Lily K. are excited to find the bears in the bear cave in their hunt.

Then we listened to the musical version. In this version there ARE various obstacles, but we make into a cave... and see eyes, not yours, not mine. Do they belong to the bear, or did we go into the WRONG cave? Ask your children. It is a fun and different version of the traditional book. There are many different stories that are made by different authors and musicians, with some similarities, and some differences. We similarly can think of our own ideas and write them down to create our own stories.
