Looking for the Vortex

The Haifa All Stars now have a tornado bottle in our room. It was created by filling two soda bottles with colored water and connecting them. After they are connected the children make sure that all of the water is in the top part of the bottle. You have to shake the bottle very, very hard to create the vortex of the tornado. Sometimes you have to shake it more than once for the twister to begin. It is so much fun to do and then the children get very excited when the tornado happens.
