Jacob is Three

Jacob always enters the classroom with a flourish and a smile. Today he was accompanied by a smiling family, as Mom, Dad and Ali joined us to celebrate Jacob's third birthday. Crown making was our early morning activity, and then we gathered in the circle to sing our songs and hear some of Jacob's favorite stories. As you can see, the Rainbows are wonderful listeners. We heard two books full of rhyme and humor, The Cat in the Hat, and Silly Sally. Later, at our Shabbat celebration, we enjoyed wonderful banana muffins along with our challah. Thanks to Jacob's family for joining us and bringing lots of sunshine and good cheer to our day. Happy Birthday, Jacob!

  1. That looks like one very excited boy! The tradition of the crowns that everyone wears on a birthday day seems to add a feeling of excitement and anticipation to the air.
