The Scientist class got a big surprise today, our very own set of Magna-Tiles. We no longer have to ask the Unicorn class to share their Magna-Tiles. Thank you Ellen for this wonderful addition to our classroom. As you can imagine there was a lot of building, creating, concentrating and negotiating the tiles among the Scientist friends. Plenty of houses and garages were being built to store the lego rocketships, boats and cars. What a fun toy!,

Those constructions are quite unbelievable. It's pretty fantastic what children can do when they are given freedom and the tools to create. And when they work together.
