Jake, Zack, and Sara stopped by my office on an errand. Jake noticed a basket of number tiles on my desk. "What are those?" he wondered. Little did I know, that was to be the beginning of a full math lesson. Out came the number board and the trio worked through the 100 number tiles, placing them each in the correct place on the board. These are kids that love puzzles, but this was an especially difficult one because we had to figure out where each number fit in 1-100 order. 37 and 73 look a lot alike to a four year old, so together we considered each tile. I look forward to seeing how the children's skill with this puzzle grows over the next few weeks.
