While listening to the story, friends could look at pictures of other books. Some chose their homemade books by Mom and Dad (We love these homemade books from parent night!!) or other stories on our bookshelves. At the end of the day we returned the headphones to the Haifa classroom. Thanks Haifa friends! We really enjoyed listening to these stories! Some of our Unicorns wanted to know if you would come listen with us one day.

Books on Tape
Today Unicorns had the opportunity to use headphones with a friend. They could listen to a very long story about a very big snowman and his winter adventures. Drew and Sam G asked Sauci and Allison if Unicorns could borrow two of their headphones. When they said "yes!" We were very excited!! We created a space in front of the CD player with two chairs. One friend wore one set that was white and the other friend could wear the blue set.

A highlight of my day was being called into the classroom to witness Jacob, wearing the big earphones and totally absorbed listening to the snowman book and singing Hineh Mah Tov to himself. Great combination!
