Havdalah Helpers

Our usual pattern is to have one child from each class help lead our Monday morning school wide havdalah ceremony. Last week scheduling issues called for two sessions of havdalah so the Unicorn class was joined by the Sunshine class for their very own three year old havdalah. This meant multiple Unicorn kids could help out. Sam Gustat volunteered to hold the blue and white braided candle. Olive volunteered to hold the red and white one. Max said he'd be in charge of the grape juice and Jacob held the beautiful silver spice box. What a treat to have so many children have the chance to be so close to the action. You can see the enchanted expressions on their faces. As we say every Monday, "Shavuah tov! Have a great week!"
