The Levana children have been enjoying the beautiful weather this week with some extra time outside. The yard is filled with pods containing seeds from the Honey Locust tree, and we have been busy learning how to open the pods to extract the seeds. We collected the seeds and brought them inside for further investigation and exploration. We also cut open one of our pumpkins and roasted the seeds inside for a yummy snack. We learned that we can eat some seeds, but not all seeds.

We collected so many seeds!

Thanks for sharing all about the Levana seed exploration. We love all of the pictures. Eliana was very proud to show me all of her seeds today when she came home. The picture of her with her hand in the pumpkin is great!!
ReplyDeleteI love the way Eliana reached right into that pumpkin!
