Respectful, polite conversation!

Polite respectful friendly conversation is so nice to hear. Yesterday was Aviva's first day of school and Lunch Bunch. I introduced her to all the children at our meeting time. While we were washing our hands before lunch Alana asked Aviva "Do you want to eat lunch with me." Aviva answered her with a big smile, "Yes I would like to eat lunch with you."

After lunch we all explained to Aviva what peace-out time is all about. Everyone picked out a few quite activities at the rug and tables. Alana, Aviva, Molly and Rachel decided to draw in the Art Center. I sat at the table and listened to the polite interactions and dialog amongst the children. Aviva said, Look at my picture Alana!" Alana's response, "That's amazing Aviva! Who are you making that for?" Aviva said , "I am making it for you!" "Really for me?" "Yes, I am making this picture for you!" Rachel asked ,"Does anyone have a red marker I can use?" Aviva said, "I will help you find the red, Rachel." When Aviva found the red marker she gave it to Rachel. Rachel said, "Thanks for finding the red for me Aviva! Do you want to use it when I am done?" "Yes, let's take turns with the red Rachel."

Welcome to Lunch Bunch Aviva!
