In lunch bunch friends have opportunity to select the activity they would like to engage in. Some friends choose to read, others write and draw in their journals, build with magnetic tiles, puzzles or engage in the thematic activity. On this particular day, two friends asked if we could read this book together. In the story, mommies and daddies can each do the same things competently, build, cook, take care of children etc.Just FYI... some friends thought there were DEFINITELY some things mommies excelled in and daddies excelled in, particularly when it came to food preparations. Samuel said: daddy can make great cookies and banana bread, while mommy makes the best pancakes and waffles. Daniel Chansky thought mommy made the best corn bread. Clearly out of all the things we as parents do well, some children enjoy food the best!!!
