The Haifa All Star children used their flashlights to make a human menorah. Jay was the shamash, since he is the stick person this week. He stood on a stool to be the tallest candle. We sang a song that acknowledged each night of Chanukah, and when it was "your night" you turned on your flashlight. We were all aglow. We watched our flashlights shine on the ceiling of our classroom and discussed the fact that some of our lights were bigger than others and some were brighter.
I got to hear the song at home tonight. . .Jesse really enjoyed the lights.
