Play Dreidel

You will need pieces for each player and one dreidel for the group. You can use plastic chips, pennies, small candies or peanuts in the shell for pieces. Distribute an equal number of pieces to each player. Begin play by having each of the players ante up 1 or 2 pieces into a common pot. Take turns spinning the dreidel and taking the actions determined by the letter you spin:

Nun—the player takes nothing
Gimmel—the player takes all
Hey—the player takes half
Shin—the player puts in
