Tzedakah~ A Family Affair

Sadie shared her Tzedakah coins with her younger sister, Mia. She may not understand the concept of "giving" yet, but clearly she enjoys the process and ritual of "giving" /putting money into our Tzedakah jar.
In an effort to provide them with a visual concept of where and how their weekly contributions are benefiting others, we will be taking them to the donation box in the front hallway and asking them if they would like to donate the money collected to purchase mittens, gloves, boots, or jackets to the Second Chance. What a wonderful way for the children to be part of "giving" as well as "receiving" during this festive season of Chanukah.
