Marshmallow Mania

At the marshmallow sculpture table, Sam told me that he made a cube because "it was the easiest thing I could make." Then he exclaimed, "maybe I can build up!" He quickly added another cube on top of his original cube. The only problem with his new structure was that it began caving in on itself. He looked at the sculpture that I had made and asked me how I made mine so sturdy. I explained that I had added toothpicks to keep it from falling apart.

He asked me to help him stabalize his structure, and as we were adding toothpicks, we noticed that the sculpture started changing shape. "Triangles!" Sam shouted. The sculpture transformed from two cubes to a giant crazy abstract structure made of triangles.

The Tel Aviv All Stars really enjoyed making marshmallow structures today. In addition to Sam's creation, other sculptures made included:
-dumbbells for Mia's mom
-a three-eyed man by Nathaniel
-a guy with a crazy hat by Isaiah
-a building by Teddy Fox
-a regular sculpture by Hadley
-a fighting rocketship by Aden
-a square by Eric

And the best part about these sculptures is that they become a tasty treat!!
